Colin Hickey, CAIA, is Managing Partner and co-founder of Cayside Partners, a boutique multi-family office and Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm. Colin brings a wealth of experience to his role, having founded and served as a partner in several investment advisory firms and advised numerous families and family offices.

Before launching Cayside Partners, Colin was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan, where he played a key role in managing over $1 billion in assets in their wealth advisory business. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Colin co-founded AM Global Family Investment Office in Palm Beach in 2012, where he was a shareholder and led investment sourcing and due diligence for liquid and illiquid strategies, overseeing approximately $500 million in assets. He co-managed the firm’s proprietary investment vehicle and focused on hedge fund manager selection and public and private equity strategies.

In 2018, AM Global was acquired by Forbes Family Trust (FFT Wealth Management), and Colin became an equity partner in its parent firm, FWM Holdings. At Forbes Family Trust, Colin served as a Partner, Director of Client Investment Advisory, and a member of the investment committee. During his tenure, the firm grew to manage approximately $10 billion in assets under management.

Colin’s broad expertise spans traditional asset allocation and security selection, hedge fund manager due diligence, private equity and private credit, real estate, digital assets, and alternative investments. He holds his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designation. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science in Finance from Florida State University.

An avid outdoorsman, Colin enjoys offshore fishing, tournament fishing, and spearfishing, in Florida and the Bahamas. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s license for vessels up to 100 tons. He also has a passion for competitive golf. Colin is deeply involved in his community, serving as the Chair of The Benjamin School Alumni Golf Tournament and a member of committees for the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation. He and his wife, Carly, reside in Jupiter, Florida, where they enjoy spending their time on the water.
